WOYWW Wk 93

Hi WOYWWers! Not much been going on on my desk for the last couple of weeks, I have been feeling poorly, (sinus trouble and really bad migraines) but I am feeling much better and yesterday was the first day I felt like doing anything (shame it HAD to be sorting out and doing all the HW I hadn't been able to do).
The odd half hour I did sit at my desk I only managed a couple of things (none of them finished),
I did try a couple of image transfers (the skulls), stamped on a domino, and painted a few birds, oh and started a few ATC's but other than that nothing.

A close up of the pile of painted birds. I say painted they are coloured with Aquatone pencils and watered.

Dominoes, alcohol inked and stamped and the image transfered skull.

The skull domino and an atc with another image transfer skull.

A pile of unfinished atcs and a little book made from 1 sheet of 12x12 paper, instructions on Tim Holtz's blog (valentines book).
So that is it for this week, if you want to see more desks which are much more interesting than mine pop over to Julias Stamping Ground and feast your eyes on loads more!

Could you just send me everything on your desk? I love it all: the skulls, the birds, the everything!

I love image transfers, and I love skulls, but I've never combined the two. Thank you so much for the inspiration.

cheers, rachel, no. 70

Sometimes when your feeling poorly it's nice to just have a faff, i'm sure all the WIP will get finished when your feeling better.. i'm loving the skull, what technique did you use to transfer to the domino?
Happy Wednesday

Wish my workplace was as tidy! I've got lots of unfinished projects lying around, finishing some would help! LOL

Interesting goings on...I think it's a symptom of your recovery that you're pottering at several things at once...reluctant to settle. I wish my pottering had such great results though!

I hope you're feeling better there is so much of that going around. You get well first and the rest will look after itself. Your dominos look amazing. Congrats on your win as well.

Those birds just popped out at me - love the colours on them. So sorry to hear you've been unwell with the dreaded sinusitis - so painful. Hope you are having a great weekend. Elizabeth x #74

It looks as though your mojo is well and truly back and firing on all cylinders. Those birds are beautiful. I sympathise so much with you, having dreadful sinus pain. When I get it, I spend most of my time inhaling steam, which helps to ppen up the passages, and also massaging the sinus areas, which does seem to help. If it hurts to massage, I find it is a good sign that you have found the right pressure point to work on. Hope you soon feel fully recovered.
