Another Tag.
This tag came all the way from Australia! My sister Dot brought her Grand daughters lots of clothes over for christmas, but wrapped them up when she got here. Anyway I happen to see the tags that were on them and commented that I could 'do something with them' so my Sis took them all off and I was then the proud owner of 6 lovely thick chipboard tags along with the chains that attached them to the clothes! (sad I know but I don't get out much!) And when she explained to her daughter why the clothes didn't have tags she (my neice) said she had had loads of new clothes for Christmas and she gave me those tags too! ( lovely designer tags, in felt and canvas and organzer!)
Back to the tag!
The background of the tag was shiny so I first sanded it. Then scrapped on some black acrylic paint and left it to dry. I then used Pearl-ex in purple and rubbed it on (it stuck to the paint even though it was dry) I did seal it with hairspray too. Then I stamped it with a swirly stamp in black.
The beads are on a ribbon and attached with tape ( the really sticky one with the red backing)
The eyelet is from We R Memory Keepers and the chain is what came with the tag.
The fairy is from a template covered in metal (embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder 'words') and toned down with Aqua dabber paint. Face is a moon moulded from Hearty clay and coloured with interference perfect pearls. The wings (Crafty Individuals) are stamped onto acetate with Staz on and Angelina fibres at the back.
Another canvas

This canvas has Pearl-Ex (red, purple and yellow) rubbed into white acrylic as the background.
This was then stamped with Midnight Black ink.
The main focal point is a TAG (it is a desiginer label from my niece, I have never seen such lovely clothes tags before! She had loads of different ones some were felt, some organzer, others were canvas) this on is one of the canvas ones which I inked and stamped on.
The dragonfly is Tim Holtz grungeboard, coloured with pearlidoodles.

Canvas (8x10)
The background has white, blue, green, purple and red acrylic paints scrapped on with an old credit card. Black acrylic was applied around the edges and corners with a baby wipe. This was then left to dry thoroughly.
Midnight black Dewdrop ink was used for the swirly stamp (La Blanche).
The bird and the branch are from Technique Tuesday these were both painted with Dabbers, (stream and 2 shades of browns) the bird was embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder 'swirls' then stamped with the same swirly stamp and a bead added for the eye.
The flowers are paper and have a turquiose bead in the centre.

A Little Metal Fairy.
At last I have made enough room in my craft room to make something! My little metal fairy, she is 5 inches tall, her body is black coated metal (from Ten Second Studio) hand toolrd and sanded.
Her face is moulded from a sun mould in black Fimo and coloured with Ranger Perfect Pearls (interference). Her wings are flower sequins glued to cut-out paper wings. Beads were added to the bottom and around the neck.
