WOYWW

What happened to last week, I missed it and I'm so sorry! I wanted to be here with everyone celebrating but it was not to be, my other half had different ideas, he decided to have a few days off work as a supprise! If I had known I would have at least scheduled my post!
Here is my desk for this week, hasn't really changed much apart from a couple of finished pieces and a couple of flowers. I didn't get into my studio much last week so I am making up for it this week!

Here is the small (4x4) canvas I made yesterday, it looks fine in real life but could I capture it in a photo, it must be the matt medium and the corner has a piece of mica over it, there is a blu feather under the mica. I really need lessons on taking photos!

If you want to see more desks (with much better photograghy) pop over to Julias blog.

Thanks for looking!

Great little canvas. Try putting some distance behind it when you photograph it...don't lie it down but stand it up with a good few feet of uncluttered space behind. Maybe a garden wall with some greenery in the distance or even a white room. Also zoom out a lot more to allow the camera to get all the detail and then crop later with Picasa or Photoshop. (free on-line versions available). You will also be able to edit the white balance which will give you the right lighting. Sounds difficult but it's not. The link to Picasa
